Venue 1230

1230 North Michigan Avenue, Hastings, Michigan



This Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into as of the date of signature by and between Venue 1230 (hereinafter referred to as the “Venue”) and the individual or entity identified below (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”).



1. Venue Rental and Services



1.1 Rental Fee: The rental fee for Venue 1230 is $4,000 per day. Rental hours are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight).



1.2 Outdoor Ceremony Garden: Access to the outdoor ceremony garden is included in the rental fee.



1.3 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $3,000 is required at the time of booking to secure the date. This deposit will be applied toward the total rental amount.



2. Catering and Bar Services



2.1 Exclusive Catering: Venue 1230 provides in-house catering. Outside catering is not permitted.



2.2 Bar Services: Venue 1230 provides exclusive bar services. No outside alcohol is allowed on the premises under any circumstances.



2.3 Desserts: Clients may bring in outside desserts, such as cakes or cupcakes, provided they are prepared by a licensed vendor.



2.4 Penalty for Outside Alcohol: If outside alcohol is found on the premises, a $1,000 penalty fee will be charged to the Client.



3. Payment Terms



3.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $3,000 is required at the time of booking to secure the date. This deposit will be applied toward the total rental amount.



3.2 50% Payment: Six (6) months prior to the event date, 50% of the approximated total bill is due. The $3,000 deposit will be applied toward this amount. This payment is also non-refundable.



3.3 Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than thirty (30) days prior to the event date.



3.4 Accepted Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit card, check, or bank transfer.



3.5 Cancellation Policy: The deposit and any payments made (including the 50% due 6 months prior) are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will result in forfeiture of all payments made.



4. Client Responsibilities



4.1 The Client is responsible for adhering to all Venue policies, including but not limited to:

• No outside alcohol.

• No outside catering, except for licensed desserts.



4.2 The Client will be held liable for any damage caused to the Venue property during the event.



5. Venue Responsibilities



5.1 The Venue will provide access to the rented space and outdoor ceremony garden during the agreed-upon rental hours.



5.2 The Venue will provide catering and bar services as per the Client’s selections.



6. Indemnification and Liability



6.1 The Venue is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to the Client’s property or that of the Client’s guests, vendors, or other attendees.



7. Governing Law



This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Michigan.



8. Acceptance



By signing below, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
